Does Ig therapy cover Hep A & Typhoid? Holiday advice CVID

I am hoping to go on holiday to South east Asia. The island has no Malaria but you are recommended to ensure your vaccinations for tetanus, typhoid, hep A and polio are all up-to-date which won't work as I have cvid and I had a flat response to the vaccine challenge. 

My doctor has confirmed ig therapy does cover polio and tetanus but is unsure if Hep A and Typhoid are covered. 

Does anyone know? 

I have not started my treatment yet, I am awaiting sub cut training, but it will be underway by the time I go.

Probably best to find out from a qualified medical practitioner (is the doctor you spoke with a clinical immunologist?), but as far as I know both typhoid and hep A are covered by IgG.

Looking in the British National Formulary they use normal human immunoglobulin (i.e what we get)for treating Hepatitis A outbreaks and it recommends the use of IgG for protection of those who cannot be vaccinated so I think you'll be fine. Do make sure to find out properly though!

Another thing to consider is how long you will be on IgG before you go, it took me 6 months to get full effect of being on IgG. I had to stop for 3 months and when I started on it again it took the 6 months to get full effect again.

I went to Tialand pre diagnoses when I caught everything I came in contact with, I found it to be a very clean place, you could eat off of most bathroom floors, I was there for a month and didn't pick up any bugs not even food poisoning.

It also depends on what type of immune deficiency you have, IgG dosent cover everything.
