Volunteers Needed for Research Study
We are looking for Chicago-area and Washington DC based patients with a Primary Immunodeficiency Disease (PID) to provide input on the design of a new device for self-administering immunoglobulin (IgG) in the home.
Who We Are: We are a company that is developing a new pump device to administer your IgG under the skin. If approved, this device would provide PID patients a convenient alternative for receiving IgG therapy.
Details:
• We are looking for current PID patients who are undergoing IgG therapy. You may know this as ‘IVIG,’ ‘SubQ IG,’ ‘SCIG,’ or ‘gamma globulin.’
• You will NOT be asked to undergo any form of treatment as part of your participation. We seek only your thoughts on the ‘concept’ of our device and your reactions to various prototypes (look and feel, etc.).
• We will ask you to participate in a discussion at either our Chicago-area or Washington DC facilities on the evening of Tuesday, October 22, 2013 (Chicago-area) or evening of Wednesday, Nombember 6, 2013 (DC) - depending on which is most convenient for you based on your current area of residence.
• The discussion will last approximately 2.5 hours. You will be provided with compensation for your time and participation, and direct travel costs will be reimbursed.
