Myocardial perfusion test

Hi all
I got my appointment just over a week ago and have been worried all week but it was not as bad as i thought,
I had to do a stress test on the treadmill and then they injected me with radiation so i was glowing, well my heart was and then they scanned my heart and after about an hour i did it all again apart from the treadmill, so just got to wait for the results now and hopefully its not bad news just before xmas,

I have my infusion tomorrow and i was worried the nurse was going to use my best vein but she was very understanding and found one half way up my arm which i could hardly see.

I can understand the worry of an unknown test, I'm really glad it turned out better than you had feared.
Now as you say you have the wait for the results, fingers will be crossed that it's good news, specially as Xmas is coming up. hope your infusion went OK, if you've done it already, or goes OK if not!
Keep out of the cold mate, it's brass monkeys here in London!!

I don't know if i want the results this side of xmas but its out of my hands now so I am going to forget about it until it happens, a chap having the same thing done wanted to know the results there and then because he wanted to know if he could missbehave at xmas lol.

Its not cold here yet but it is coming and i have brought some longjohns to keep the cold off my legs :-)

infusion went well but feel sleepy now.

We're going to North Norfolk for a few days tomorrow, so guess I'll be breaking out my long johns too!
Glad the infusion went OK. Funny how it makes some of us so sleEpy afterwards, but it always does me too.
If they send you the test results through the post why not give the unopened envelope to Pat until after Xmas? I'm sure a few days won't hurt! But then if you're anything like me you'll worry till you know what it says, and open it!! Then misbehave!!!

Glad the test went ok, its amazing how worrying these things are. I couldn't leave it if the results come through, I'd have to know! Do hope that all turns out really well for you, keep us posted?

I think I will just get another appointment to go back to the hospital so they can explain the results so it could be a while yet, Its not on my mind anymore so I am now looking forward to xmas and if it was serious they would have kept me in last friday.
