CVID and Joints

My newly discovered cousin in Canada who has CVID told me in her latest email that she also has Ehlers-Danlos, known as EDS. It is a condition that makes joints dislocate and is common with many of the CVID sufferers in Canada. She said it is the same condition the girl who plays Izzy in Coronation Street has. Now I'm wondering about it because my daughter was born with a dislocated hip and was in a splint until she was 18months old and was fine after that. Now I find my 3year old great neice has severe problems with her joints and I wonder whether to mention it to my brother (her grandfather) as he was very interested to hear we had a cousin with CVID. I don't want it to sound as though I'm looking for problems but as it's all new to me I am interested in anything I can learn. Any thoughts or knowledge of the condition would be welcome.
