What a year:-(

Not been the best year in my life:
Had to come to terms with definitive diagnosis of CVID and commenced Ig treatment, Spent May bank holl in HDU with 7 month old who's body went into shutdown due to rotavirus, was made homeless 6 Weeks ago due to the sellers of the house we were buying pulling out 4 days b4 moving date and having to live with the in-laws a a result whilst waiting for new house purchase to go through (if not moved in 3 Weeks time, this move will also fall through due to mortgage offer expiry!).
This week has also been the week from hell: baby Zach, now 11 months found a boiling cup of tea on a table and decided to pour it over himself! Blue lighted to A&E, then the 1 hr drive to nearest paediatric burns unit with an available bed, 2 nights spent there. Now we have the 3 hr round trip for dressing changes every couple of days for at least 2 weeks. Were told yesterday that scarring is likely and he may need skin grafts. I am extremely worried about infection as his burns put him at high risk and I know that his IgG levels are rock bottom as I had him tested during the May hospital stay. I Understand that he is only going to have what little IgG that I gave him during pregnancy and that he will probably produce his own fully functional immune system at around 3 years old but until then, I believe him to be extremely vulnerable.
I know this is all a bit "woe is me" but I am feeling very fragile and just need to vent a little. I can't wait for this horrible year to end and hope that 2013 will be lucky for my little family.
