Hi all,
i know the forum has been a bit quiet lately, and i also know from experience that we are not all so well that we don't want for anything (IF ONLY!).
However I can tell you that we now have 45 members registered, and that since we began there have been 151 posts posted, which is something to celebrate!
Personally I am recovering from one infection whilst simultaneously beginning another, which is a first even for me.
I would give anything to be away from London's freezing cold, who says that the cold kills the germs??

Hi John,
I had that happen to me once and had to go on different anties and all I'm going to say is I prefer my Zithromax, no horrible side effects,
I think its just that nasty time of year January and Feb are not the best months and I was behind a women in a queue today sneezing and coughing so i held my breath, not sure if it helps lol.
I did my infusion sunday so i am well topped up now.
My delivery firm lost my Kiovig and it had to be detroyed because they said it had been out of the fridge , what a waste.

thanks for the reply, i was beginning to think i was home alone!!
we just got home on the train and there was a guy sitting next to me who was sneezing and wiping his hand on the train seat, and also was playing some very bad hip hop on his ipod, so i said to sue "we gotta get outta here"!, and we moved to another carriage!!! WHO NEEDS IT?
that's terrible about losing your kiovig, i hope the delivery firm reimbursed the nhs with every penny, and why don't they keep the stuff refrigerated in their van, even tesco has that technology!!
i'm about to have the best antib known to man, called a cuppa tea now....that'll have me feeling better!!
really nice photo on fb by the way - sure it's only 20 years ago, you look like a baby!!!

Kiovig can be kept out of the fridge 6months or something like that but cant be put back, it must have been put on the wrong van and didn't get delivered on the day, the sad thing is it would have been ok as i do stock rotation but I suppose they could not risk it, it gets done by prescription from the hospital so I assume they know about it.
The photo was taken when I was 14 and I am 53 now so maybe a bit over 20 years, it was a joke to pay back my friends wife for putting an old picture of her on fb, it gave them all a good giggle, oh and ignore vic I used to work with him and we are all used to his mindset lol

Hi John. Hi Malcolm. It's bitterly cold here so I feel like curling up and waiting for it to go away, but I can't make the excuse that I'm ill 'cos I'm not! I just hate the cold! Infusion went fine today, just left me feeling more than usually tired.

so it's more like 30 years ago eh??? when you were at school i was already married - trying to make me feel ancient??
gillie, i can imagine the wind that hits your neck of the woods - there's not a lot to slow it down or warm it up is there? it's supposed to be warmer in the city, but at one stage today i knew that if i didn't get inside and get a hot drink i would keel over!
really glad your infusion went well, makes such a difference to the whole "experience" when they get a vein pronto. isn't it strange that one of our ties to friendship was this wierd, unnatural practice of IG infusion, but here we are, years up the road, with other stuff to talk about too?

its nice to hear from you, its freezing here again today so I'm staying in the warm and having a lazy day,
We have to go and have our 5 yearly check up infusion in front of the nurse in april to see if we have picked up any bad habits, not looking forward to that,
