i was there today for my infusions, and am usually there on thursdays when i do my volunteering.
sadly i'm not strong enough yet so i'm missing tomorrow, but i will be at the immunology day on saturday, and will be at the ghu next thursday.

My next appointment is July 12th, so if anyone is "knocking about" at the clinic then, please say "hi"!

Also, due to Dr Longhurst's advice, I have managed to get a poorly friend (Nina) referred to the clinic. Her first appointment is this Thursday - I am sure she'd appreciate a "Hi" if anyone is there.

She uses a mobility scooter, in her mid 30's, glasses, long brown hair.

i usually try to start at 10.30, so if she has an early appointment she might not want to hang about.

LFT - nothing to be scared of, they have to really push us in order that we try even harder!
i guess that if we've tried our utmost best, only then can they compare the numbers with what we did last visit and get a meaningful comparison of our lung function trends.
that large vodka..... you know i don't drink anymore, so i'll be waiting for you with a nice cuppa john's special coffee!!!

My appointment is 9.30 on 12th - it'd be nice to meet up with you both John and Lizi, but don't hang around or come early if you don't need to. Maybe see you, but if not, no worries.

I am the exceptionally healthy looking one! (As a lot of us, which is quite annoying sometimes when you feel so horrible)

I've not posted much recently as I've had a bit of a flare up with my CFS.

Nina is there tomorrow at 11.00ish I believ - it's her first appointment. Hopefully they can sort her out!

i missed nina yesterday. couldn't see anyone bearing her description in the waiting room around 11, and then i got involved in the day care room till i left at 1.30.
it was a good day nevertheless, and i hope to meet up with her if she comes back.
