Hi PID Support Forum Members,
Here is our latest weekly new threads update; these are emailed to members every Sunday and list threads posted on the forum in the past week.
There are two new threads in the "General Primary Immunodeficiency Discussion" area (http://primaryimmuno.proboards.com/board/4/general-primary-immunodeficiency-discussion):
-"Changing from iv to sub cut immunoglobulin"
A member who currently does home IVIG is having to change over to subcutaneous IgG, and wants to find out experiences from those who have made a similar change.
-"No B cells"
A member has an unusual condition of being completely depleted of B cells. This might be an underlying primary immunodeficiency or an acquired one from taking rheumatoid arthritis medications in the past, but they would like to know if anyone else has heard of or been in a similar situation.
Could we also just take a moment to politely ask something? If you post a thread on the forum and you get replies then could you please post a response of some form, even if it's just to say thanks to everyone who posted the information etc? Recently we've had a lot of new members who post a thread and are then never heard or seen from again (even when they're emailed to tell them they've got replies)! Even if your query etc is answered, then posting a response takes hardly any effort and is just basic courtesy.
Just to remind members that if you don't want to receive these weekly updates (we won't be offended!), then post a message saying so in the thread at primaryimmuno.proboards.com/thread/802/weekly-thread-list-emails-comments and we'll remove you from getting the updates (but this will NOT stop you from receiving other email messages from the forum).
Remember that the forum can always be found at www.primaryimmuno.proboards.com and if you've forgotten your password then you can recover it at login.proboards.com/forgot/3391770 by providing your email address etc. Also just to alert you that your personal forum username is provided in the footer of this email.
We hope to see you on the forum again soon!
Thanks,
Sam, John and Gloria (The forum staff)
