Hi PID Support Forum Members,
Here is our latest weekly new threads update; these are emailed to members every Sunday and list threads posted on the forum in the past week. Sorry for the delay in sending out the latest update as I have been extremely busy lately and not had much time to look after the forum.
There are two new threads in the "General Primary Immunodeficiency Discussion" area (http://primaryimmuno.proboards.com/board/4/general-primary-immunodeficiency-discussion):
-"SCIG Trial"
A member with specific antibody deficiency has been having subcutaneous IgG as a trial for the past year, which has been working very well, and his immunologist now wants to take him off it to see if the infusions have made a difference. Naturally he is concerned and extremely scared about this, and wants to hear from others who may have been in a similar situation or have had similar experiences with specific antibody deficiency.
-"Home IVIG"
A members daughter has Hyper IgE Syndrome and receives IVIG. As it's not going exactly very well having to infuse at the hospital, she wants to be able to have the IVIG at home and is looking to see if any other members have experiences of this.
Two new threads in the "Newly Diagnosed Lounge" (http://primaryimmuno.proboards.com/board/7/newly-diagnosed-lounge)
-"pattis - CVID New Diagnosis"
A member is newly diagnosed with CVID and has lots of questions! Can you be of help to them?
-"diff between lymphopenia & leukopenia"
A new member with a possible primary immunodeficiency is confused between lymphopenia & leukopenia, and would like someone to help with their understanding.
Just to remind members that if you don't want to receive these weekly updates (we won't be offended!), then post a message saying so in the thread at primaryimmuno.proboards.com/thread/802/weekly-thread-list-emails-comments and we'll remove you from getting the updates (but this will NOT stop you from receiving other email messages from the forum).
Remember that the forum can always be found at www.primaryimmuno.proboards.com and if you've forgotten your password then you can recover it at login.proboards.com/forgot/3391770 by providing your email address etc. Also just to alert you that your personal forum username is provided in the footer of this email.
We hope to see you on the forum again soon!
Thanks,
Sam, John and Gloria (The forum staff)
